Attempted Fraud targeting senior citizens 
A senior resident of Thurmont has received a call from a subject informing the resident that he has won money from Publishers Clearing House. The caller then requested the resident to go to Walmart and purchase a $350 moneypak card and then call a specific phone number for further instructions. The object of this scam is to get the victim to send several hundred dollars to the caller before they can claim their prize. Please report all fraudulent activity to the police.
