The Butte-Silver Bow Law Enforcement Department is issuing this Credit Scam Alert. Callers are receiving calls on their home and cell phones. The number that shows up on the caller ID is 000-000-0000 If the call is answered an automated voice states that your credit infromation has been compromised and to press 1 to verify your personal information. This is not legimitate and we are advising not to answer any number that comes up with zeros and not to give you personal information out.
