Pair of suspicious persons on foot in yards behind homes in the Colonial Hills area overnight the past two nights. 
On 2/12/11 at 2:00 AM and on 2/13/11 at 12:00 AM two unknown subjects were observed in the Colonial Hills area moving through rear yards near homes.
On the 12th two adult males dressed in black ran from behind a Zachary Drive home and into the woods when startled by the homeowner.
On the 13th two persons jumped a fence to the rear of a home on Wanda Drive near Pumping Station Road walking through the yard and around the homeowner's vehicles.
Police tracked footprints in both incidents but did not locate anyone.
The two reports may be unrelated based on details which have been withheld for investigative purposes. It is not known if there was any intent to commit a crime, however, it is unlawful to maliciously loiter or prowl around a home at nightime.
Residents in the area are asked to lock their vehicles and secure their sheds and any other valuables. Call 911 if you observe any suspicious activity.
