SNOW EMERGENCY FROM 2/20 AT 8PM UNTIL 2/22 AT 12 PM VEHICLES SHALL BE REMOVED FROM PUBLIC ROAD TO ALLOW SNOW REMOVAL

Please be advised that on Sunday, February 20, 2011, at 8:00 p.m. Chief of Police Robert L. Leman has declared that a “SNOW EMERGENCY” exists pursuant to Michigan Motor Vehicle Code statute 257.252d. All vehicle owners SHALL REMOVE their vehicle from the public roadway. Vehicles not removed will be towed by the Police Department to a place of safekeeping at the owner’s expense. The “SNOW EMERGENCY” will remain in effect for 2 days (ending Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at 12:00 p.m.) unless extended or shortened by additional notification by the office of the Police Chief.
