Subject: Albany Police Investigate Homicides
The Albany Police Department has opened an investigation after the bodies of two men were found early this morning in the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue.
Officers were called to the above location at approximately 2:43 a.m. When they arrive on the scene, the victims were discovered in a grassy area near the back of the business. The initial investigation, conducted at the scene, revealed both men had been fatally stabbed.
Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses to assist them with developing suspects and determining what events led up to the stabbings.
At this time, the names of the victims are being withheld until proper notification of family has been completed.
