Dear Friends:
In these struggling times, the Bob Evans Restaurant on Burbank Road , across from Buehler’s Milltown, reached out to our Reserve Organization, offering to do a fundraiser in their support. The Sheriff’s Reserves is a much needed organization within the safety realm of Wayne County . For over 35 years these men and women have volunteer their time (much as Rotarians, Kiwanis, Lions Clubs) through our communities. But theirs is a law enforcement commitment. They will log close to 1000 hours toward safety measures for this county. Some of these are: jail visitation, out of county- state prisoner transports, and securing crime scenes. They recently gave invaluable support at a homicide. As Sheriff, I can attest that their presence within this office is essential.
If you can make time during your day to enjoy some breakfast, lunch or dinner at Bob Evans on Burbank Road, please do. Just bring in this coupon during this day.
