Gasoline being reported as stolen from vehicles. 
Law enforcement has received two recent reports of stolen gas from vehicles in Briarcliff. The incidents have occurred near the intersections of Newport Dr. @ Shotts Dr.; and Fife Dr. @ Shotts Dr.
Chevrolet Suburbans and a Ford Mustang have been the targeted in these incidents: the thefts are taking place at night.
With the price of gasoline steadily increasing, locking gas caps deter fuel theft and vandalism.
