CSX To Begin Railroad Repairs March 24, 2011. Detours and delays to be expected. 
CSX Railroad has notified the Town of Tyrone that several railroad crossings will be closed for two-to-three days, over a staggered period. Detour signs will be erected.
Beginning Thursday, March 24, the following railroad crossings will be closed for two-to-three days:
* Senoia Rd. Railroad Crossing
* East Crestwood Road Railroad Crossing
* Valleywood Rd. Railroad Crossing
Beginning Monday, March 28, 2011, the following railroad crossings will be closed for two-to-three days:
* Tyrone Rd. Railroad Crossing
* Handley Road Railroad Crossing
* Swanson Road Railroad Crossing
CSX is closing the crossings in order to replace the railroad ties.
