Hit-and-Run Collision leaves pedestrian in grave condition

PRESS RELEASE
On Thursday, March 31, 2011 at approximately 10:25 P.M., a serious injury Traffic Collision Pedestrian vs. Vehicle occurred in the community of North Hollywood, California. An older model dark colored sedan traveling westbound on Victory Boulevard approaching Fulton Avenue collided with a pedestrian who was walking southbound from Victory Boulevard, outside the crosswalk just west of Fulton Avenue. The collision caused the pedestrian to travel in a westerly direction and collide with the roadway just west of Fulton Avenue at Victory Boulevard. After the collision, the driver of the dark sedan failed to stop to render aid and was last seen driving westbound on Victory Boulevard.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.
