The Canyon Police Department has seen an increase in burglary incidents over the past several weeks. Two churches were broke into during the morning hours of 4/7/2011. If you know anyone that works at the Canyon churches please notify them and make them aware that someone is going into the church looking for money. Money should be deposited each day to avoid having cash on hand. We have also seen an increase in our residential burglaries. Make sure your doors are locked while away from the house. Watch after your neighbor’s property. Let your neighbors know that you are going to be gone for several days or weeks if planned. If you see it, hear it, then report it. We work 24/7 and would love to address your concerns.
