Multiple Armed Robberies in Enid
Enid Police are investigating three armed robberies that occurred early this morning. The first call came in at 2:28 AM from the One Stop Shop located at 1606 W. Willow. The victim reported that two armed subjects entered the store and attempted to rob them. The suspects were unsuccessful and left the store.
Then at 3:26 AM police received a call from the Maine Street Mini Mart located at 1602 E. Maine. The victim reported that two armed white males entered the store and demanded money. The suspects were unsuccessful at this store also and fled the scene.
At 3:46 AM police received a call from the On Cue store located at 1623 S. Van Buren. The victim reported that two armed white males entered the store and demanded money. This time the suspects left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Both suspects are believed to be white males that are in their late teens or early twenties. Enid Police are actively investigating leads and believe that the same suspects committed all three robberies.
“The Enid Police Department is doing everything possible to identify and apprehend these two subjects. This type of violent criminal activity will not be tolerated in our community” stated Enid Police Chief Brian O’Rourke.
