Coper theft at residence. 
On April 16, 2011 Avondale Estates police officers responded to the 1100 block of Clarendon Avenue in reference to a theft of copper from a vacant residence. It was determined the theft took place between 04/14/2011 and 04/16/2011. Entry was made into a locked crawl space, where suspects removed water and gas piping. There is no description of suspects or vehicles at this time. Anyone having information that may assist in the investigation, please call Inv. Tom Gillis at (404) 391-4526. Citizens are requested to contact 911 immediately should they observe suspicious persons and/ or vehicles in their immediate area.
