On April 18, 2011 at approximately 2147 hrs Thurmont Police Officers responded to 116 W. Main St. for a disturbance. Frederick County Sheriff’s Deputies and MSP also responded to the call for service. Two subjects were located at 120 and 116 W. Main St. who appeared to have been involved in an assault and were bleeding from injuries. Neither subject would tell the officers how they received their injuries. The one subject identified as: Jason R. Appleby, age 33, of Thurmont, was intoxicated and subsequently arrested by Officer Stanley for Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing the Peace. The other subject was transported to FMH for facial injuries, treated, and released. After his Initial Appearance, Mr. Appleby was released on Personal Recognizance.
