Cherry Valley Police will enforce traffic laws during the week of Cinco De Mayo in an effort to reduce injuries/death
The Cherry Valley Police Department is participating in the Cinco de Mayo Traffic Enforcement program sponsored by the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police. The program will run from April 29, 2011 through May 8, 2011 and the goal is to make the streets and highways of Illinois and Cherry Valley safer by targeting violations of Driving Under the Influence, Speeding, Disobeying a Traffic Signal, and Disobeying a Stop Sign.
