On Wed. April 27 from 12 noon to 6 pm, this office will be collecting any unused or expired medications that need to dispose of.
Do you have any unused prescription medications in the cabinet that you need to get rid of because they are out-of-date or the doctor changed your meds? Community members are asked to bring their expired, unused and unwanted prescription and/or over the counter medications to be disposed of at no cost.
We will be co-sponsoring a PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK DAY in collaboration with the Twin County Prevention Coalition on Wed., April 27th from 12 noon to 6:00 pm at the Sheriff's Office. Bring your expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement officers for destruction.
No Illicit or Illegal Narcotic Drugs such as Marijuana, Cocaine, or Methamphetamine WILL BE ACCEPTED nor will Intra-venous solutions, injectibles, and syringes due to potential hazard posed by blood-borne pathogens.
