The final examination schedule has been canceled due to the loss of power. Students can leave. 
The administration of OU has canceled the final examination schedule that was to begin on Sunday of next week due to a N. Alabama power outage that is not anticipated to be rectified for the next 5-7 days. Alabama is in a state of emergency due to the damage that was caused by tornadoes yesterday. Students are free to leave at this time.
Students who have made flight arrangements for next week should contact their respective airline to change their flight. Normally, airlines change flights at no charge when there are exigent circumstances. The state of emergency should be mentioned when the airline is contacted.
Please keep our faculty and staff in your prayers. Several have lost everything. Fortunately, none of our staff/faculty, to our knowledge, were injured.
