Traffic collision and fire at Del Taco in the City of Industry
Industry Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a traffic collision at the Del Taco located on the 18000 block of Gale Avenue in the City of Industry at 9:00AM.
When deputies arrived a fire ignited in the kitchen area. Los Angeles County Fire Battalion 12 responded and took charge of the fire and rescue operation.
It was determined that the driver was eastbound on Gale Avenue when another vehicle cut her off causing her to loss control of her vehicle. The vehicle traveled through the Del Taco parking lot and struck the building. The driver sustained an abrasion on her elbow and an employee was transported to Citrus Valley Medical Center for a laceration to his head. No other injuries were reported.
Estimated Damage/Loss was $175,000.00.
