This past weekend, several cars were broken into as people went for their walks/hikes in the Granada Hills and Porter Ranch areas. Most of the crimes occurred during the early morning, although these crimes may occur on any day at any time. Do not leave valuables visible in your car when you exercise. Secure these items in the trunk before you arrive at your destination. Better yet, leave them at home. “Lock it, Hide it, Keep it.”
