The Los Angeles Police Department, Valley Traffic Detectives are investigating a serious traffic collision, occurring on Wednesday, May 18th at 9:38 pm, at Victory Boulevard and Platt Avenue.

21 -year old West Hills resident, Anais Garcia was negotiating a left turn from eastbound Victory Boulevard to northbound Platt Avenue in her 2002 Cadillac Escalade when she struck and seriously injured, 50-year old pedestrian, Adriana Buckelew. Buckelew was in the marked crosswalk crossing eastbound when she was stuck. Buckelew was transported by the Los Angeles City Fire Department to a local hospital where she remains in grave condition.
