In previous weeks we have reported that cars are being broken into and personal property stolen. The problem continues as people leave their valuables in the car. In some instances, in plain view and their cars unlocked. Suspects frequent parking lots where the owner will leave their car unattended for a lengthy period of time (i.e. hiking trails, gyms, movie theaters and the shopping malls). We urge you NOT to take valuables to these locations. If you are compelled to leave valuables behind, secure them in the trunk prior to your arrival. “Lock it, Hide it, Keep it.”
