Los Angeles Fire Department Community Emergency Response Team training. 
We have made arrangements with the Los Angeles Fire Department to have a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class taught at the North Hollywood police station's community room. The CERT training is designed to prepare individuals and communities so they are better prepared to handle a natural disaster. The training would take place on three consecutive Saturdays starting June 11, 2011 at 8:30 am, Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 8:30 am, and Saturday, June 25 at 8:30 am. Each class is approximately 8 hours. We have a limited amount of spots available in the class so please contact the North Hollywood Area Community Relations Unit (Officer Suzuki or Officer Valdez) if you are interested.
