Matamoras Borough Adopts Curfew Ordinance. 
The Matamoras Borough Council enacted Ordinance 315, CURFEW on June 7, 2011. This new ordinance makes a child under 18 years unlawful to be out on the Borough streets, alleys, parks, or public places between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. November 3 until September 30th. During the period of October 1st through November 2nd it shall be unlawful for a child under 18 years old to be out between 8:00 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The fine for violating this ordinance is up to $300.00. For more information contact the Borough Office.
