Full Notification

On 06-30-11, at approximately 9:00AM, AEPD units were dispatched to a residence on Dartmouth Avenue (low end) in reference to an incident of Entering Auto. Upon arrival, initial investigation revealed that unknown person(s) had entered two vehicles; removing an ipod and ring from one vehicle and nothing from the other. It was determined that the theft occurred between 06-29-11 @ 9:00PM and 06-30-11 @ 8:30AM.

A second incident in the area was called in, but the victim stated that nothing was taken and no damage occurred - thus declined a report.

During both incidents it was noted that none of the vehicles were locked nor any damages noted.

Citizens are once again requested to remove all items of value from their vehicles and to lock vehicles when not in use. Seeing that school is not in session, pedestrian traffic increases as does crime.
