Volunteers needed in all positions Operations and Support Services
We need help!
Regional Fire & Rescue needs volunteers to assist with stabilizing your communities fire protection.
Retired, disabled, former military, public service and administrative employee backgrounds are desired to assist with departmental communications. New office facilities in the making will require volunteers to assist with Radio Dispatching, (coordination and response of personnel to emergency and non-emergency calls). Membership drives, fundraising events, completion of construction projects, all need assistance. Administrative help is also required for bulk mailing campaigns, light administrative and data entry tasks.
Entry level Firefighters - "a son or daughter, niece or nephew?" Have they mentioned an interest in a career in the fire service, they can begin as a Volunteer or Paid-on-Call Reserve Firefighter! Encourage them to inquire at Regional Fire to get a start on certifications and other requirements. CAC Classes begin in the fall semester this August for Basic EMT and Firefighter 1 & 2 certifications. (Not required of entry level applicants or Volunteers)
