The City of Wayne Parks & Recreation would like to inform you of the following upcoming events!

The State Wayne Theater will be hosting a midnight showing of "Harry Potter & The Deathly Hollow 2" on July 15th. Doors open at 11:00pm on July 14th for the midnight showing. Tickets are on sale at the State Wayne Theater and the Wayne Community Center. The cost is $7.00 per person. Only 250 tickets being sold!!

Park-It is back at Goudy Park on July 21, 2011 beginning 6:00pm. Entertainment by “The George Brothers” will begin at 6:30pm. Following the concert, stay and enjoy “Megamind” (PG) on the GIANT LED video screen. The event will also include kids activities and sponsor giveraways. The Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting a Community Garage Sale on Saturday, July 30th in the Ice Arena from 9:00am-2:00pm. Rent an 10'x10' area for $20.00. Admission is FREE. Contact us at (734) 721-7400 for more information on the event and table registration.

"FunRaising" Golf Outing, sponsored by the Parks & Recreation Foundation and Recreation Advisory Board will be held on Wednesday, September 21st at Fellows Creek Golf Club in Canton. Golfers are $75.00 each or $300.00 a foursome. Shotgun start at 8:00am. Hole Sponsorships are also available. Proceeds from the event will be used towards the Attwood Park tennis courts.
