Three men were arrested Wednesday, at about 2:20 AM during a burglary at the Manas Restaurant in Pico Rivera.

Pico Rivera Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a burglary alarm call at the restaurant on the 4600 block of Rosemead Blvd, on July 20.

When they arrived, deputies did not observe any obvious signs that the building had been burglarized.

The owner of the restaurant, who had also responded to the scene, unlocked the front door, allowing deputies to check inside. As they entered, a male was seen running away from the back of the building and over a rear wall. Deputies quickly apprehended him. Two additional males were found hiding inside the restaurant.

Deputies determined the suspects entered the restaurant through a roof vent which was found pried open. The burglary alarm was apparently activated when a rear door was opened. The timely arrival of deputies prevented suspects from removing property from the business.

The suspects were identified as, Christopher Swanson, 33, of Inglewood, Paul Morales, 34, of Los Angeles and Daniel Gonzales, 33, of Pico Rivera. All three were booked for burglary at the Pico Rivera Sheriff’s Station.
