Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau Lieutenant Dave Dolson reports that the investigation is continuing at a residence in the 8500 block of Pico Vista Road, Pico Rivera, where human remains were found buried in the backyard of a residence. No suspect is in custody.

The deceased person has not yet been identified. Identification of the remains will be made by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.
