DESCRIPTION: Traffic Disruption – USA Triathlon National Championships
BRIEF NARRATIVE:
Residents and visitors to Burlington, South Burlington and Shelburne are advised of road closures and traffic disruptions on the morning and afternoon of Saturday, August 20, 2011 due to the run and bike portions of the USA Triathlon National Championships. The events will begin and end in Waterfront Park in Burlington, however, the competition takes place on roads throughout the cities of Burlington and South Burlington and in the town of Shelburne.
The following roads will be closed for various amounts of time during the competition:
Burlington:
Lake Street Southbound, North Avenue Southbound, Battery Street North and Southbound from Main to Maple, Maple Street and Pine Street, North and Southbound
South Burlington:
I-189 Eastbound, Dorset Street Northbound, Swift Street Westbound, Spear Street Southbound, Nowland Farm Rd Westbound
Shelburne:
Spear Street Southbound, Irish Hill Rd. Eastbound, Dorset Extension North & Southbound, Shelburne Hinesburg Road East & West bound, Dorset Street North bound
