At 1:30AM Thursday, August 4, the victims (a male and female) were in their car stopped for a light at the corner of Stimson and La Monde in Hacienda Heights when they were confronted by two armed male Hispanic suspects.

A suspect got into the victim’s vehicle and told them to drive to a nearby school parking lot.

The suspects tied the victims hands with “zip ties” and stole the male victim’s wallet and car keys. The suspect then fled by entering a nearby parked dark 4 door Honda and driving westbound on La Monde toward Stimson and out of sight.

The victims were able to free themselves and call 9-1-1. The victims were not injured.

The two suspects are described are Hispanic men, 17-25 years old, wearing dark clothing.
