At approximately, 3:05 a.m., this morning, Officers responded to 911 East Oglethorpe Boulevard (Sandtrap parking lot) in reference to a deceased person. When officers arrived on the scene, they learned that the victim, a 25-year old black male, had been shot twice (chest and stomach) while in the parking lot.

At this time, the initial investigation reveals that the victim was approached by the suspects and an argument ensued. Several shots were fired and the victim was struck twice. The suspects then fled the scene in the vehicle the victim drove to the above location.

Now, Officers need the public’s assistance with locating that vehicle; a 2002 burgundy Cadillac Escalade with 26-inch rims. The vehicle also has two “For Sale” signs in the back side windows.
