Final Suspect in Aggravated Assault on Officer Turns himself in
The Albany Police Department would like to announce the arrest of 32-year old Rolando Dupree Frazier.
Last night, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Frazier met with Gang Unit Investigators at the intersection of Habersham Road and Randolph Street to turn himself in. He reportedly traveled back to Albany after being in Panama City, Florida.
Albany Police Chief, John A. Proctor commended the hard work, dedication and persistence displayed by everyone involved in the arrests of the seven suspects in less than a week. He also extended thanks to the citizens of Albany:
“We appreciate the community assisting us with calling and providing the needed information to get these individuals off the streets of our city. The feedback we received through tips is a strong indication that citizens are willing and ready to become guardians of their own neighborhoods because they have gotten fed up and tired of criminal activity.”
After being interviewed, Frazier was booked in the Dougherty County Jail on the following charges:
• Aggravated Assault
• Street Gang participation
• Felony Obstruction of an Officer
• Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime
• Outstanding Probation Violation Warrants
