FATAL HIT AND RUN TRAFFIC COLLISION IN NORTH HOLLYWOOD 
On Sunday August 28th, 2011 at approximately 1:40 A.M., a fatal Traffic Collision Pedestrian vs. Vehicle occurred in the community of North Hollywood, California. An unknown model, possibly white 4-door sedan traveling westbound on Saticoy Street just west of Atoll Avenue collided with a pedestrian who was on the roadway in the #2 lane. The pedestrian was seriously injured as a result of the collision. The hit and run driver failed to stop to render aid and was last seen driving westbound Saticoy Street then northbound on Fulton Avenue. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead at scene. The pedestrian has been identified as a 70-year Male, White, resident of Sun Valley. Notification to the next of kin is still pending.
