On September 2nd 2011 at approx. 6:00 PM, The Enid Police Department Narcotics Unit and Officers from the Patrol Division executed a search warrant located at 707 N. 12th Street, Enid, Oklahoma. This investigation has been going on since June 2011. Narcotics Detectives had been receiving numerous complaints from citizens that Narcotics were being sold and/or consumed at this residence.
Narcotics Detectives discovered that this was the residence of Amber Morris and Terrence Mathis. Through several investigative techniques, Narcotics Detectives were able to obtain a search warrant for the residence.
Upon entry to the house, Joshua Taylor (7-8-91) , Terrence Mathis (10-19-91) and a Juvenile Female were located in the residence. Amber Morse had just left prior to Detectives serving the warrant but later arrived back at the house. While inside, Detectives noticed a very strong odor of marijuana throughout the house. Upon searching the residence, Narcotics Detectives located an amount of purported Crack cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and US currency which was believed to be derived from illegal drug sales. Mathis, Taylor and Morse were all subsequently arrested and the juvenile female was released to a family member.
