On September 14th 2011 at approx. 8:30 AM, The Enid Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant located at 202 W. Poplar Street, Enid, Oklahoma. This has been an ongoing investigation for approximately 3 months. Narcotics Detectives had been receiving numerous complaints from citizens that Narcotics were being sold and/or consumed at this residence. Narcotics Detectives utilized different investigative techniques to determine that Richard Hughes (4-7-58) and Thomas Gaul (7-10-61) were residing at this residence. Through this investigation Narcotics detectives were able to compile enough evidence which culminated with the service of a search warrant.

When Narcotics Detectives served the search warrant, both Gaul and Hughes were located inside the residence. Upon searching the residence, Detectives located an amount of Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.

Hughes and Gaul were subsequently arrested for Possession of CDS within a 1000 ft of a school, Possession of drug paraphernalia.
