Stealing

On 09-29-2011 Officers responded to the 12000 block of Manchester Rd in reference to a possible larceny in progress. Upon arrival they were informed that a subject on a motorized scooter had been attempting to conceal items in the basket of the scooter as to not have to pay for items. While questioning the subject about the items concealed, it was learned that he motorized scooter had been stolen from another local business. All property was returned to the correct owners and the case has been forward to the Prosecutor’s Office for further review.

Commercial Burglary

On 10-02-2011 Officers responded to the 12400 block of Manchester Rd in reference to a burglary just discovered. Once on scene the Officers made contact with a Security Officer who advised he had just discovered a broken window on the business. Multiple electronic items were reported as missing. Video surveillance is being reviewed to assist in identification of the suspect.

Attempted Burglary

On 10-02-2011 Officers responded to the 11700 block of Manchester Rd in reference to an attempted burglary report. Upon arrival Officers were advised by the reporting party that damage had been located on the front doors of the business. On closer inspection several pry marks were located on the edges of the front doors. It appeared as though someone had attempted to gain access to the business without success. No items were reported as missing. Video surveillance is being reviewed at this time.
