CORRECTED LOCATION:
Metro Orange Line Bus involved in traffic collision at Mason Avenue and the Orange Line Busway in Woodland Hills. Injuries reported.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Transit Services Bureau Deputies and LAPD Officers responded to a traffic collision at Mason Avenue and the Metro Orange Line Busway, between an Orange Line Bus and a Pontiac Vibe, at 8:15 this morning.

Four minor injuries were initially reported. Three of those persons injured were to be transported via LAFD to a local hospital. One person refused medical treatment. All of the initial injuries reported were patrons aboard the MTA Orange Line Bus number 9214. The driver of the Pontiac later complained of pain and an ambulance was dispatched.

Los Angeles Police Officers are handing the investigation into the accident. The cause of the collision is under investigation. Traffic on the Orange Line and Mason Avenue in all directions is open at this time.
