The Wayne Police Department is investigating 4 recent breaking and enterings. Two homes, a garage and two sheds have been broken into along Elm Street, Glenwood Street and Flora Lane. Residents are encouraged to lock their homes, garages, sheds and vehicles before going to bed at night. Leaving a porch light on at night is also helpful with deterning criminal activity. Wayne residents are asked to report all suspicious activity to the police department at 734-721-1414.
