(FLORIDA) Lakeland Deputies Hike Reward for Stolen Equipment 
LAKELAND | Deputies are offering $5,000 for any information about stolen Lakeland police equipment including an assault rifle and a police radio.

ONE OF THE ITEMS STOLEN from a Lakeland police detective's unmarked vehicle was an H&K assault rifle.
The Sheriff's Office increased the reward to find out any information about a burglary that occurred between Oct. 6 and Oct. 7 when an unmarked Lakeland police detective's vehicle was parked in the area of Walt Williams and Old Polk City Road, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.
An H&K assault rifle, a Motorola Police radio including a battery charger and shoulder microphone and an American Body Armor ballistic vest were stolen from the vehicle, deputies said.
Two other vehicles in the area were broken into, deputies said.
