Weekly Health Tip: Limit Alcohol
Did you know that alcohol affects every organ in your body?
If you’re a frequent user of alcohol, take just a few minutes to “rethink your drink”.
Know your limit. Drinking in moderation is defined as having no more than (1) alcoholic drink per day for women and no more than (2) alcoholic drinks per day for men.
Here are some reasons to choose non-alcoholic beverages:
-You cannot drink in moderation
-You are pregnant or may become pregnant
-You plan to drive or operate machinery or take part in activities that require skill, coordination, and attention
-You have certain medical conditions that prohibit you from drinking alcohol
-You are recovering from alcoholism
-You are a child or adolescent
