Burglary Alert

Residential Burglary

On 10-28-2011 Officers responded to the 1800 block of Bopp Rd in reference to a Residential Burglary not in progress. Upon their arrival Officers made contact with the reporting party who stated he responded to the sounds of his dog barking only to find that unknown subject(s) had forced entry to his garage. The point of entry was an exterior man door on the side of the garage. At the time of this report no items had been reported as missing.

On 10-28-2011 Officers responded to the 12000 block of Berkley Manor to a report of Stealing. Once on scene it was learned that unknown subject(s) had gained entry to the residence through an unlocked garage door and then forced entry into the main living area. Two gold jewelry items and some prescription medications were reported as missing at the time of this report.

On 10-31-2011 Officers responded to the 12000 block of Ironstone for a report of a Burglary just discovered. The reporting party returned to her home to find that a rear man door on the garage had been forced open by unknown subject(s). Two pieces of jewelry and miscellaneous U.S. Currency were reported and missing from the residence.

The above listed incidents were all believed to have occurred between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Please remember to contact the Police Department with any suspicious activity (slow moving vehicles, people walking through back yards, etc…) and as always lock your doors and vehicles prior to leaving.
