Little Rock, Arkansas Murder Suspect On The Run Arrested in South LA
A Blood gang member wanted for murder in Little Rock, Arkansas, was tracked down and arrested Tuesday by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department - Operation Safe Streets gang investigators, in conjunction with United States Marshal’s Service and the Little Rock, Arkansas Police Department.
The gang member was wanted for a Capital Murder and Aggravated Robbery which occurred in Arkansas in May of 2011.
The suspect, Christopher “Big Curious” Smith had fled the state of Arkansas after he and an accomplice set up two victims for a robbery. Smith allegedly shot both victims, killing one. After the murder, Smith fled the state of Arkansas and was believed to be hiding out as a fugitive with fellow Blood gang members in Los Angeles.

With information provided by Little Rock Police detectives and excellent investigative work, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s gang investigators and deputy U.S. Marshal’s found Smith hiding in a residence near 60th Street and Harvard Ave. at about 9:00PM, Nov. 8. He was taken into custody without incident.
Christopher Tywon Smith, 20, was booked at South Los Angeles Sheriff’s station and charged with the out-of-state felony murder warrant pending extradition. He is being held without bail.
