WOOSTER -- Police are searching for a suspect who reportedly robbed the West Old Lincoln Way Drive-Thru on Monday night.
According to Sgt. Robert Merillat, Wooster police received a call at about 6:02 p.m. when the business reported a man brandished a folding knife and demanded money from the business, located at 815 W. Old Lincoln Way.
The clerk gave the man cash from the register. The suspect fled the scene on foot. There were no other witnesses.
Merillat described the man was a white male in his late 20s. He is about 5 feet 8 inches with a thin build, blue eyes and dirty blonde hair and a goatee. He reportedly was wearing a tan Carhartt jacket and a camouflage baseball hat.
Police have no leads as to the suspect's identity, but were analyzing surveillance footage from the business.
The clerk noted the suspect was in the store area of the drive-thru earlier. He left and returned to rob the business.
Merillat said no one was injured. The amount of money the suspect stole is unknown.
