Due to recent reports of burglary to motor vehicles we are asking residents to please lock your doors before leaving your vehicle unattended. Don't leave any item of value in plain view. Hide or take with you your wallet, purse, a laptop, IPOD, GPS, tools or anything else of value. Crimes that have been reported to us have involved unlocked cars. Locking your car goes a long way to deterring this crime.
We are also asking residents to lock your house, garage and shed doors. Please leave your porch lights on to deter crime and make your property more visible to you, your neighbors and police. Keep watch in your area and dial 911 to report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood.
