This is an update to our earlier message about planned lane closures on Highway 74 at the RR Crossing.

Please be advised that work will NOT be performed on December 2nd, 3rd, and 4th as previously reported.

Work will be performed on the RR crossing on the Southbound side of Highway 74 on December 10th and 11th from 7am until dark on both days.

Please note that southbound traffic will be stopped at the intersection of Peggy Lane and the northbound lanes will be divided to accommodate traffic in both directions. Northbound traffic will be allowed to free flow and southbound traffic from Peggy Lane to Carriage Oaks Drive will be controlled by a pilot car. Both southbound lanes will be opened south of Carriage Oaks Drive.

Police officers will be onsite for the duration of this construction to provide traffic direction and ensure safety.

We will do our best to keep delays to a minimum, but please plan ahead if traveling on these days.

If you must reach I85, please consider using Palmetto Road.
