More RR Crossing Work and Lane Closures on Highway 74 and on Tyrone Road. 
CSX is contracting work on two crossings inside Tyrone this week that will impact traffic.
Project 1 - RR Crossing on Hwy 74 near Peggy Lane: Please be advised that work will be performed on the RR crossing on the Northbound side of Highway 74 on December 17th from 6:30am until 5:30pm.
Please note that northbound traffic will be stopped at the intersection of Carriage Oaks Drive and the southbound lanes will be divided to accommodate traffic in both directions. Southbound traffic will be allowed to free flow and northbound traffic from Carriage Oaks Drive to Peggy Lane will be controlled by a pilot car. Both northbound lanes will be opened north of Peggy Lane.
Police officers will be onsite for the duration of this construction to provide traffic direction and ensure safety.
We will do our best to keep delays to a minimum, but please plan ahead if traveling on these days.
If you must reach I85, please consider using Palmetto Road.
Project 2 - The RR crossing on Tyrone Rd. at Senoia Rd. (Across from the Shell Station) will be closed for repairs from 9am Wednesday December 14th until 12pm on Friday December 16th.
