LAPD 77th Street is requesting assistance in identifying the suspects involved in two shootings that occurred on December 28, 2011.

Incident No. 1
At 9:45 AM, the 17-year-old victim was standing on 53rd Street just west of Normandie Ave, when a late 90’s brown Buick drove passed him and stopped. The rear passenger exited the car, ran up to the victim and placed a handgun to the back of his head. The victim moved slightly as the suspect fired one shot, causing the round to enter the back of his neck. The suspect ran back to the Buick and fled the scene westbound on 53rd Street. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

The suspect is described as a male black, wearing a dark gray or black sweatshirt with white lettering and black pants. He was armed with a handgun.


Incident No. 2
At 12:40 PM the 14-year-old victim was on the sidewalk in front of Bottoms Up Liquor at 64th Street and Vermont. A female suspect walked up behind him and fired several rounds at close range, striking him in the back and face. The suspect ran northbound to a 4-door white Honda and fled eastbound on 64th Street. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The suspect is described as a female black, approximately 20-years-old, wearing a multi colored pink shirt with horizontal pink stripes.
