Marina del Rey Station Deputies, responded to a Suspicious Person, Trespasser call at a Marina del Rey Apartment complex. Deputies arrived and contacted the manager and was given a description of the trespasser. Deputies left the location and saw the described subject sitting on a park bench at Mother’s Beach, the subject was detained. A Deputy attempted obtain the subject’s identity. The subject/suspect refused to give the Deputy his identity and tried to run away. The Deputy tried to grab the suspect, the suspect was able to pull away and flee. The suspect was apprehended without further incident and upon his arrest it was discovered the suspect was a parolee at large and had Felony and Misdemeanor warrants out for his arrest. The Deputy suffered minor injuries only.
