HOME INVASION ROBBERY GLEN BURNIE
On January 11, 2012, at approximately 9:02 p.m., officers from Northern District responded to the 6500 block of Cedar Furnace Circle in Glen Burnie for a report of a home invasion robbery.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victims, who reported that three masked men armed with firearms forced their way into the home as one of the victims was unlocking the front door to enter the residence. Once inside, the suspects restrained the victims and proceeded to ransack the residence for an extended period of time. The suspects also assaulted an adult male victim during the robbery. The suspects eventually fled the scene with the victim’s vehicle. That vehicle, a 2005 Honda CR-V, was later recovered unoccupied near Carolina Avenue in the nearby Heritage Hills Community. Officers conducted an extensive search of the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. The investigation is continuing.
