THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN POCATELLO HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH - WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
* TIMING - MOISTURE AHEAD OF A PACIFIC SYSTEM WILL ARRIVE EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING AND BRING HEAVY SNOWFALL TO THE CARIBOU HIGHLANDS AND THE WASATCH MOUNTAINS THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.
* SNOW AMOUNTS - STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL WILL BE AROUND 18 TO 32 INCHES BY THURSDAY MORNING ABOVE 6500 FEET MSL WITH HEAVIEST ACCUMULATIONS AROUND WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
* MAIN IMPACT - DUE TO THE HEAVY SNOW AMOUNTS EXPECTED - VISIBILITY MAY BE SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED WITH SNOW QUICKLY ACCUMULATING ON ROADS AND SIDEWALKS.
