Armed Home Invasion
On Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at 2:31 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 2600 block of Cedar Elm Drive in Odenton for a report of an armed home invasion. Upon arrival, officers met residents of the home, who reported unknown suspects forced their way into the residence. The suspects both displayed handguns and demanded money. The suspects stole currency and other items of value before fleeing on foot into the woods behind the residence. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. Preliminary investigation indicates that this was possibly a targeted incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Western District at 410-222-6155 or Metro Crime Stoppers.
